The tender process for two sizeable onshore packages for Saudi Aramco’s Zuluf incremental project has been impacted by delays, slowing down a process that could result in more than $8 billion worth of contracts.
Two people with direct knowledge of the tender process told Upstream that Aramco has pushed back until next month the bid submission deadline for the two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) packages.
“Bids were earlier expected to be submitted on 12 August but Aramco recently communicated to the bidders that the submission will be delayed at least by a month,” one person said.
