An Eni-led joint venture has hit the market with the latest set of pre-qualification documents for its huge Structures A&E project offshore Libya.

The development is the biggest in Libya for many years and involves tapping gas and condensate resources through subsea wells, two fixed platforms plus existing offshore infrastructure. It will also see carbon dioxide piped to shore.

In its latest supply chain exercise, Mellitah Oil & Gas, the joint venture between Eni and state-owned National Oil Corporation (NOC), plans to award a turnkey contract covering modification work on the existing Sabratha platform.
