UK independent Harbour Energy has initiated the bid process for a sizeable floating production, storage and offloading vessel for its Tuna oil and gas project offshore Indonesia.
Two people close to the bid process told Upstream that project’s operator Harbour recently sought pre-qualification from leading domestic and international contractors, ahead of launching a design competition for the leased FPSO.
“The pre-qualification offers are likely to be submitted on 13 January, with the design competition expected to be carried out later this year,” one person close to the development told Upstream.
