Congo-Brazzaville’s authorities have offered industry an opportunity to secure a stake in offshore acreage currently operated by Total that hosts three producing oilfields.

The Ministry of Hydrocarbons invited shortlisted companies to pay a site visit to the Kombi-Likalala-Libondo (KLL) II permit this month, also offering the companies detailed documentation on the acreage until 31 March.

The ministry will accept bids through to the end of April, which will be evaluated with a view to selecting a successful contractor group in late July.
