Angola has finalised four offshore and onshore block awards, with US supermajor ExxonMobil involved in all the acreage dished out.

In addition, the National Petroleum & Gas Agency (ANGP) has advised companies interested in its delayed onshore licensing round to set aside two days this week for clarification talks.

The Ministry of Petroleum Resources said risk service contracts have been agreed for blocks 30, 44 and 45 in the Namibe basin and the Central block in Angola’s Cabinda enclave.
