An Equatorial Guinea-based company has won two licences on mainland Guinea-Bissau, joining a clutch of operators poised to restart exploration in the West African country after several years of inactivity.

Malabo-based Ada Business GE is awaiting completion of “institutional formalities” to finalise exploration and production contracts signed on 28 September for onshore blocks 4 and 5 after talks concluded in April.
