Hungary's MOL is aiming to drill up to two appraisal wells on a discovery offshore Norway this year as the company chases potential reserves upside at the asset.

Speaking to Upstream, MOL executive vice president Berislav Gaso said that the company is planning to start drilling the first appraisal well on production licence 820S in May using the semi-submersible Transocean Barents in water depths of about 125 metres.
