Russian oil producer Lukoil has issued a fraud warning after social media profiles claiming to belong to vice president Leonid Fedun began appearing online.

The privately held player warned of "fraudulent co-operation offers" being sent from false LinkedIn profiles using the well-known oil industry personality's name.

Lukoil said that Fedun — who is part-owner of Moscow-based football club Spartak and who earlier this year tested positive for Covid-19 — does not even have a LinkedIn profile.
