UK operator Neptune Energy has made a marginal oil discovery with a wildcat drilled at its under-development Fenja field in the Norwegian Sea.

The 6406/12-G-1H probe unearthed a minor find with recoverable resources of between 3.1 million and 20.1 million barrels of oil equivalent after being drilled by the semi-submersible West Phoenix in a water depth of 322 metres to a depth of 3695 metres in Neptune-operated production licence 586.
