Norwegian survey contractor Shearwater GeoServices has won an ocean bottom seismic (OBS) 4D survey for Aker BP at the operator’s Ivar Aasen field in the Norwegian North Sea offshore Norway.

Shearwater’s multi-purpose vessels the SW Cook and SW Tasman will perform the OBS survey using proprietary technology. The workscope is due to start in the second quarter and take around one month to complete.
