Russian independent gas producer Yatek has opened a major seismic tender for some 2500 kilometres of 2D seismic data on a recently acquired block in East Siberia as it seeks financing from domestic investors to bankroll its ambitious growth plans.

According to a company disclosure, Yatek is prepared to pay over 1.2 billion roubles ($16.3 million) for the seismic job on the Maysky block, with the work to be conducted between the fourth quarter of 2021 and the end of 2022.
