US independent Apache has revealed encouraging results from a flow test carried out at the Krabdagu-1 exploration well in Block 58 offshore Suriname.

Apache and block operator TotalEnergies have made a string of discoveries in the area that may result in the first offshore commercial development for the country.

According to Apache, flow test data collected in the Upper Campanian and Lower Campanian intervals of Krabdagu-1 have indicated a combined resource of more than 180 million barrels of oil in place.
