Reconnaissance Energy Africa (ReconAfrica) is set to begin a new seismic campaign in Namibia to glean more data on the geology of the promising Kavango basin.

The Toronto-listed junior has so far drilled two wells in the frontier basin, called 6-2 and 6-1, both of which have hit oil and gas shows.

Subject to final permitting, the seismic programme will start in the third week of July and run for up to eight weeks.
