The Zimbabwe government has identified Invictus Energy’s Cabora Bassa project as a priority project as it targets becoming a middle-income economy by 2030.

Invictus confirmed Monday the Cabora Bassa project had been classified as a priority development project by the Office of the President and Cabinet of Zimbabwe to be implemented under its 100 Day Cycle programme.

The programme sees projects broken down into phases and milestones that can be completed in 100 days and will help fast track the approvals process for the gas and condensate project.
