Tullow Oil is in talks with India’s ONGC Videsh and Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) about farming in to its $3.4 billion Lokichar oil project onshore Kenya.

London-listed player Tullow has a 50% stake in the 130,000 barrels-per-day development — where its 25% partners are TotalEnergies and Africa Oil — and for years has been trying to reduce its exposure to a project that involves oil being pumped some 895 kilometres from fields in arid Turkana County to Lamu port on Kenya’s coast.
