Norway’s Aker Solutions and Drydocks World-Dubai have won a contract worth up to Nkr4 billion ($401 million) to upgrade Altera Infrastructure’s Petrojarl Knarr floating production, storage and offloading vessel.

The joint venture will perform the upgrading work at Drydocks’ yard in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

The floater will be deployed on the Equinor-operated Rosebank field development offshore the UK.
