BP has relaunched the prequalification stage of a tender covering the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of offshore gas processing facilities and related infrastructure for the next phase of its Tangguh liquefied natural gas project in Indonesia.

The relaunch suggests an unsatisfactory market response to the UK supermajor’s earlier prequalification exercise, for which applications were due back by 4 November.

As part of the integrated development plan, BP plans to build new production facilities to exploit the Ubadari offshore gas field and build new facilities offshore and onshore to inject carbon dioxide into the Vorwata field’s reservoir.
