Prio is looking to carry out a third redevelopment phase at Frade, as the Brazilian independent added a new well in the Campos basin deep-water field, pushing the company’s output to a record level of more than 80,000 barrels per day of oil.
The company is close to concluding the second revitalisation programme at Frade and last week placed on stream the MUP5 well, which achieved a better than expected flow rate of 8000 bpd, prompting Prio to progress with further activities in the field.
