Norwegian energy major Equinor has pushed back a final investment decision on its BM-C-33 pre-salt project offshore Brazil, but insists that the project is progressing toward sanction.
The BM-C-33 block harbours the giant Pao de Acucar natural gas find in the ultra-deepwater section of the Campos basin, plus two satellite discoveries — Gavea and Seat — that will be developed together.
Asked on progress to bring Pao de Acucar on stream, Equinor chief executive Anders Opedal said: “BM-C-33 is progressing towards FID.
