Brazilian oil giant Petrobras believes that first oil from the P-71 floating production, storage and offloading vessel may occur sooner than expected.

The P-71 FPSO is undergoing final integration at the Jurong Aracruz shipyard in Brazil’s Espirito Santo state.

The unit, which will feature topsides modules with processing capacity of 150,000 barrels per day of oil and 6 million cubic metres per day of natural gas, will be installed at the Itapu pre-salt field.
