UK-based services giant Petrofac has won a $135 million contract to provide new water treating facilities for North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) in Kazakhstan.

The engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning contract will be carried out by Petrofac’s Engineering & Production Services (EPS) division, in joint venture with Kazakhstan company Isker.

NCOC is operator of the North Caspian Project.
