Malaysian contractor Tanjung Offshore Services has won new contracts with national upstream company Petronas Carigali and its Thai counterpart PTTEP for projects offshore Malaysia.

Tanjung, a subsidiary of T7 Group, has been tasked with providing integrated plug and abandonment services for 10 wells on Petronas Carigali’s M3 oilfield. This contract, which started in mid-October, is expected to run until the end of 2022.

This contract was awarded under the Pan Malaysia Umbrella Contract for the provision of integrated well services for intervention, workover and abandonment for Petronas and its Petroleum Arrangement Contractors (other companies operating in Malaysia).
