Spain's Repsol and Indonesia's upstream regulator SKK Migas have made a key breakthrough in their gas pricing negotiations that paves the way for a greenfield gas project to leave the drawing board.
Next year could see Repsol’s Kali Berau Dalam (KBD) giant gas field development on the Sakakemang production sharing contract onshore South Sumatra moving ahead.
While neither side has commented on the exact figures and terms involved in the gas pricing agreement, SKK Migas chairman Dwi Soetjipto said consensus has been reached.
