Subsea 7 has secured a “sizeable” contract worth between $50 million and $150 million for installation of subsea infrastructure on a field development project off Trinidad & Tobago.

The UK-based contractor will carry out project management, engineering, procurement, installation and pull-in of a rigid flowline and flexible riser, together with flexible flowlines and associated subsea infrastructure and an umbilical system.

Offshore installation is scheduled for 2021 under the contract, though details of the client and project were not disclosed. The contract will recorded in the company’s third-quarter backlog.
