TotalEnergies is set to sanction its Cameia-Golfinho project offshore Angola in early 2023, targeting first production in 2026.

The French supermajor is one of the biggest producers in Angola and, as well as Cameia-Golfinho in block 20 and 21, it continues to invest heavily in subsea tiebacks in blocks 17 and 17/06 to its four existing floating production, storage and offloading vessels.

Last month, Upstream reported that Bumi Armada had been lined up to provide an FPSO for the deep water project, although the timing for a final investment decision was not known.
