Singapore’s Sembcorp Marine has struck off a wholly owned Malaysian subsidiary.

Sembmarine subsidiary SES Engineering (SESE) was removed from the Register of Companies of Malaysia on the contractor’s voluntary application.

SESE is a dormant indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Sembmarine.

“The striking-off of SESE is not expected to have a material impact on the earnings per share and net tangible assets per share of the group for the financial year ending 31 December 2022,” Sembmarine confirmed on Friday.

“None of the directors or controlling shareholders of Sembmarine have [sic] any interest, direct or indirect, in the aforesaid striking-off other than through their shareholdings (if any) in Sembmarine.”
