Egypt and Union Fenosa Gas (UFG) have made a breakthrough in a long-standing gas supply dispute, paving the way for the resumption of liquefied natural gas exports from the Damietta LNG plant operated by the Spanish company

"There are discussions between us and Union Fenosa. These discussions will be concluded in the coming days," Magdy Galal, vice chairman of state-owned Egyptian Natural Gas Holding (Egas) told Upstream on the sidelines of the Egypt Petroleum Show conference in the capital Cairo this week.
