Eni posted a loss of more than $10 billion in the full year of 2020 as the devastating effects of the coronavirus pandemic hammered global oil demand and sank commodity prices.
The Italian major ran up a loss of €8.56 billion ($10.35 billion) in the 12 months to the end of December, down from the profit of €155 million in 2019.
The adjusted net loss for the year was €742 million, down from the adjusted net profit in 2019 of €2.88
