Oslo-listed independent PetroNor E&P is set to boost its exposure to a shallow-water block off Congo-Brazzaville where critical drilling campaigns are set to kick off this year.

Infill drilling programmes are currently scheduled for the Litanzi, Tchendo and Tchibeli fields in the Perenco-operated Point Noire Grand Fond (PNGF) Sud licence involving at least 11 wells and a new wellhead platform.

In addition, a $277 million greenfield project is on the cards to tap an estimated 29 million barrels of oil held in the PNGF Bis asset.
