Sembcorp Marine is chasing a raft of contracts and responding to enquiries including for floating production, storage and offloading vessels, a floating liquefied natural gas vessel and fixed offshore production platforms as projects regain momentum after the Covid-19 pandemic and oil prices rebound.

The Singapore company’s chief executive, Wong Weng Sun, would not be drawn on which specific oil and gas projects it is bidding for, although it has publicly stated the FPSO for Santos’ Dorado oilfield development offshore Australia is on its hit list.
