Malaysian services contractor Serba Dinamik has won new contracts worth upwards of $100 million for domestic and international projects.

The jobs secured by the contractor’s wholly owned and majority held subsidiaries that total $114.3 million include an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract for Indonesia’s Green Energy Specialist One’s 4.8-megawatt biogas renewable energy project in Aceh province. This EPCC workscope is due for completion in August 2021.

Also, in Indonesia, Serba Dinamik will provide maintenance services for microturbine generators to national upstream company Pertamina Hulu’s Jambi Merang asset. This two-year contract will run until September 2022.

The same client also awarded Serba Dinamik a contract for the provision of virtual technology demo room rental services in East Kalimantan. This contract is from November 2020 to December next year.

Serba Dinamik also revealed it had won several oil and gas sector contracts for which no specific value is attached.

These include maintenance and repair services for rotating equipment at Thai operator PTTEP’s Sabah and Sarawak, East Malaysia assets. This three-year operations and maintenance contract that expires in October 2023 carries an optional 12-month extension.

Serba Dinamik secured a contract to design, supply and deliver microturbine generators for Shell’s E8 and F14 fields off Sarawak over an almost nine-month term through July 2021.

The Malaysian contractor will also provide weather forecasting services for Japanese operator JX Nippon’s Block SK 10 drilling operations, also off Sarawak. This three-year contract is due to expire in November 2023.
