Offshore drilling giant Transocean reported another net loss in the second quarter of this year while announcing a $915 million contract in Brazil, which is expected to run for almost six years, and another, worth $321 million, in the US Gulf of Mexico.

The Swiss-based rig giant marked a $68 million loss for the quarter, up from a $103 million loss in the second quarter last year, continuing a trend of losses the company has faced over the past few years.
