Tullow Oil has officially ceased early production operations at the Amosing-Ngamia field complex in Kenya, with the Anglo-Irish independent having no plans to resume.
Chief executive Rahul Dhir told Upstream on Wednesday — after the company announced its first-half results, feature a large loss on impairments — that Tullow gleaned valuable data from the exercise but said more time is needed to refashion the full-field development plan for its South Lokichar basin assets.
