Eni’s farm-in to the Rabat Deep Offshore I-VI permits has been approved by Morocco’s government, leaving the Italian player with a 40% operating stake and Chariot on 10%.

The remaining partners are Woodside Energy with 25% equity and state-owned Onhym, which has a 25% carried interest.

The RD-1 wildcat, said Chariot, will target the JP-1 prospect, a four-way dip closed Jurassic-aged carbonate structure covering about 200 square kilometres and with potential resources of about 768 million barrels.
