Start-up of the first of two floating production, storage and offloading vessels, converted by Saipem and destined for Total’s $16 billion Kaombo project in Block 32 off Angola, has been delayed to 2018.
Thore Kristiansen, executive director of upstream activities at Galp Energia, a Block 32 partner, told Upstream that the initial FPSO is due on stream in mid-2018, a delay of about six months.
