The Texas-based independent initially planned to drill two development wells in 2016 to expand on new production from its Kitchen Lights Unit 3 (KLU3) well. However, market constraints have limited the volume of gas the company needs to deliver in the coming year and potentially up to 2019.
“Furie is unlikely to initiate production from more than one additional well in 2016 and two additional development wells are unwarranted by the market,” according to a plan of development filed in October.
