The Thai operator said hydrocarbons were introduced to the Montara Venture floating production, storage and offloading vessel via the H2 well at the beginning of June and the FPSO achieved steady production by 12 June.
Output is expected to ramp up to 21,000 barrels per day initially, and it is understood the ultimate target is between 30,000 bpd and 35,000 bpd.
