Key BHA components

Potentially hundreds of feet long, the bottom hole assembly (BHA) runs from the drill bit to the drill pipe and comprises various application-dependent tools, among them rotary steerable systems, motors, drill collars, stabilisers, reamers, hole openers, and of course the bit itself (see diagram).
