SWISS offshore contractor Allseas has completed installation of the topsides of a test platform in the Dutch sector of the North Sea with its giant construction and decommissioning vessel Pioneering Spirit.
The twin-hulled unit lifted the topsides onto the substructure on the K-13 field on Sunday, before moving on to perform dynamic positioning trials and a series of installation and removal tests in varying weather conditions.
