The HIPPS, said to be among the first of such systems in Mexico, will protect the Lakach gas collection station against high pressure in case of a pressure control valve failure.
Each HIPPS package includes two pneumatically actuated axial valves manufactured by Mokveld, pressure transmitters with interlocking manifold, and a programmable logic solver. Frames designed the system as an integrated skid-mounted solution to minimise onsite installation activities, the company said.
