New exploration boss at Aker BP

Promotion from within as current executive moves on to similar role at Neptune Energy
Aker BP has appointed a new senior vice president of exploration as the current executive heads off for a similar role at Neptune Energy.
Evy Glorstad-Clark will take up the position from 1 August after Gro Gunleiksrud Haatvedt decided to take up the position of head of exploration in London for Neptune.
Glorstad-Clark is currently asset development manager for Aker BP's North of Alvheim & Krafla/Askja (Noaka) project off Norway. She has been with that project since 2011.
Aker BP chief executive Karl Johnny Hersvik said: “Evy has a strong managerial and professional track record. I am looking forward to welcoming her to my executive team, and I am confident that she will be a valuable contributor to delivering on our ambitious exploration agenda."
Glorstad-Clark has a PhD in Petroleum Geology/Sedimentology.
