US drillers drop 25 rigs

Texas, Oklahoma see bulk of losses: Baker Hughes
The number of rigs working in the US fell by 25 this week for a total of 1050, according to the latest numbers from energy services firm Baker Hughes.
While the drop is substantial, the total is still higher than the 936 rigs that were active in the same period a year ago.
The decline was largely driven by oil rigs, which made up 21 of units lost. The number of rigs chasing gas fell by four to 198.
