This year is expected to set a record for the number of liquefied natural gas projects approved globally, as bullish fundamentals continue to support the market for LNG.
Analysts at Bernstein Research forecast that the market will remain hot in the medium-term for new LNG project sanctioning, with the US clearly in the lead.
US developers are expected to approve 67 million tonnes per annum of new capacity by the end of the year, Bernstein said in a new report.
