US services company Baker Hughes has been entrusted with supplying gas turbines and compressors for the Woodside-operated US$6.3 billion Pluto LNG train two project in Australia.

The Pluto Train 2 will have a production capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum of LNG, and is being built by Bechtel using the Optimized Cascade technology.

Baker Hughes said its contract with Bechtel builds on its 30-plus year relationship with Woodside on LNG projects.
