US liquefied natural gas exporter Cheniere Energy has made a final investment decision on its Corpus Christi Stage 3 liquefaction project, which expects to produce 10 million tonnes per annum of LNG.
Cheniere issued full notice to proceed to Bechtel Energy to continue construction on the project. Earlier this year, Cheniere issued limited notice to proceed so Bechtel could begin engineering, procurement, and other site work.
