US liquefied natural gas exporter Cheniere Energy has reached an agreement to build a 43-mile pipeline connecting Whistler Pipeline with the company’s Corpus Christi facility in Texas.

Whistler Pipeline is owned by a consortium of companies including MPLX, WhiteWater Midstream and a joint venture between West Texas Gas and investment company Stonepeak.

The new 42-inch pipeline, to be known as ADCC, is expected to transport 1.7 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day.
