Cheniere Energy posted a net loss of $1.3 billion for the fourth quarter of 2021, much more than the $194 million loss reported a year earlier.

However, increased earnings and distributable cash flow guidance for 2022, citing “an extremely supportive liquefied natural gas market environment”.

Cheniere chief executive Jack Fusco said the US LNG player “reached a meaningful cash flow inflection point” during the course of the year. But 2022 should be a strong one for the company, he added.
