China’s liquefied natural gas import in June have dropped 7.2% from May to 4.85 million tonnes as demand for heating slipped.

The latest shipping scheduled obtained by Upstream shows that June imports came in at 74 cargoes, with 34 cargoes coming from Australia.

In the first six months of this year, China’s LNG imports hit 30.33 million tonnes. There is no comparative figure available from the same period last year.
