China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) is providing carbon neutral liquefied natural gas to Hong Kong — the first such attempt to help Hong Kong achieve net zero for power generation.

The first cargo — 65,000 tonnes — was transported by the LNG tanker BW Magnolia and arrived at CNOOC’s Dapeng LNG terminal in Shenzhen on Sunday.
