Commonwealth LNG’s proposed export facility in Cameron, Louisiana has added a new customer, with an agreement to sell 2 million tones per annum of liquefied natural gas to Woodside Energy Trading Singapore.

The 20-year contract is planned to start in the second quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals and a final investment decision on the project.

Designs for the project call for an 8.4 million tonnes per annum LNG liquefaction facility, with six trains and six 50,000 cubic-metre storage tanks.
